Davi was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1968. He completed high school and took some advertising and computer science courses. He enjoys going to the beach and playing the guitar.

He arrived at the Museum of Images from the Unconscious in March 2001. He takes part in different activities, but the culmination of his artistic expression is painting. In addition to adding intensity and a variety of colours, his compositions range from figurative to abstract without losing their quality.
