Francisco Noronha
Francisco was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1942. He reached high school level, always showing great artistic potential. He worked as an event promoter for the presentations of the choir that he was a member of.
In the 1970s, he started attending Casa das Palmeiras, the day-care clinic founded by Dr. Nise da Silveira, where he joined in several activities, such as theatre play writing, drawing and painting.
In his activities at the Museum of Images from the Unconscious he focuses on drawing, creating feminine figures and highly elaborate fantastical beings.
He currently has his own house in the museum’s neighbourhood, which facilitated its production at the drawing and painting studios of the Museum of Images from the Unconscious.
